Meet Our Managers

Meet Emma

Emma Hutson is our trainer and lesson instructor at Graystone Farm. She graduated from Emory & Henry University in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in equine studies and was also part of Intermont Equestrian’s ISHA and IDA teams. Emma has been riding for 16 years and is primarily involved in hunters and hunt seat equitation. However, she loves to incorporate her foundation in balance seat and places an emphasis on equine biomechanics. Over the years, Emma has taught a wide variety of students ranging in different ages and riding levels. As an instructor, Emma puts a lot of focus on developing functional equitation in the earliest stages of riding. She also aims to turn out riders that can create a balanced, supple horse through full-body manipulation. With this foundation, her students are able to ride more effectively. Emma loves to help her riders climb through the levels of riding and is excited to welcome you into the program!
